Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to scale and maintain its public safety platform. You will focus on reliability, automation, and observability, working with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD to improve developer workflows and platform health.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure, including a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation tools such as ArgoCD.
• Experience scripting to automate infrastructure operations and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage cloud infrastructure for reliability, scalability, security, and availability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline builds, tests, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Build internal tools to automate workflows and boost engineering productivity.
• Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to strengthen platform health.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive infrastructure projects for long-term scalability.
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
