Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for our public safety platform. You will strengthen reliability, automate deployments, and improve developer workflows across teams.

You will work with AWS/Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to monitor, secure, and optimize systems. This role requires 5+ years of experience, on-call rotation, and a collaborative mindset to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or related roles.
Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.

Responsibilities

Own and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure for our platform.
Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
Enhance observability and incident response through monitoring and alerting tools.
Build internal automation to improve developer productivity and reduce manual work.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement DevOps best practices and on-call readiness.
Identify bottlenecks and drive reliability, security, and compliance improvements.
