Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering our public safety platform. You will automate deployments, improve observability, and enable engineering teams to deliver software efficiently.

You will work with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and highly available. The role includes a 24/7 on-call rotation and collaboration across Platform Division.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering or similar infra role.
Strong hands-on AWS and/or Azure cloud experience.
Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
Experience implementing monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
Familiarity with GitOps and ArgoCD deployment automation.
Automation scripting to streamline infra operations and internal tooling.
Solid understanding of cloud reliability, scalability, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.
Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, testing, and deployments.
Enhance platform observability via monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
Build internal tools to boost developer productivity and automate repetitive tasks.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and platform reliability.
Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve system performance and reliability.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support production infrastructure.
Lead infrastructure projects for long-term scalability and health of the platform.
