Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain the public safety platform infrastructure. You will improve reliability, automate deployments, and enhance observability across AWS and Kubernetes-based environments.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Security to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available cloud services, while developing internal tools to boost developer productivity and streamline workflows.

Qualifications

5+ years in DevOps or SRE
Hands-on AWS and/or Azure experience
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with monitoring, logging, observability
Familiarity with GitOps and deployment automation

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and availability.
Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
Improve platform observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
Build internal tools and automation to boost developer productivity.
Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows and platform reliability.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support production infrastructure.
Own and drive infra projects for long-term scalability and health.
