Job summary

The ALS Association is seeking a Development Manager for a remote role based out of Louisville or Lexington, KY, Ohio, or Western PA. You will drive fundraising revenue through Walks, CEO Soak, Team Challenge, and other events in designated territories and build strong volunteer committees.

You will recruit and steward volunteers, partner with corporate sponsors, and collaborate with care services and MarCom teams to meet fundraising and mission goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years in fundraising, event management, volunteer development, public relations, donor cultivation, and sponsor cultivation.

Responsibilities

• Meet income portfolio goal of $400,000–$500,000 through events and partnerships.
• Recruit, steward, and retain event committees and community partners.
• Manage logistics, printing, and promotional materials for events.
• Collaborate with Territory Event Experience team and volunteers.
• Work within budget and with care services to involve patients and families.
