Job summary

The ALS Association is seeking a development professional to plan and execute signature fundraising events from Indiana, with remote work options. You will work closely with the Director of Development to meet annual goals by recruiting participants, stewarding sponsors, and growing donor relationships.

Responsibilities include managing an income portfolio of $300,000+, coordinating event promotion, and ensuring sponsorship benefits are delivered. Travel within the territory may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in fundraising or event management.
• Experience with donor cultivation and corporate sponsorships.
• Ability to build relationships with volunteers and community partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement income portfolio goals totaling at least $300,000 across 2–3 events.
• Recruit, steward, and retain honorary chairs and committee members and engage community partners.
• Coordinate sponsorships, meetings, and fulfillment of sponsorship benefits.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop event communications and promotional materials.
• Attend events and travel within the territory as needed.
• Analyze event performance weekly to guide future totals and attendance.
