Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Development Coordinator-Temporary to support School Fundraising programs for the Kids Heart Challenge. This remote, part-time role focuses on data entry, correspondence, and coordination with schools and the fundraising team.

You will assist the RVP and Development Directors to achieve school engagement results, with a flexible schedule and a 25-hour work week. Laptop provided and remote collaboration across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Three years of administrative/project coordination experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with event planning and web conferencing tools.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; testing may apply.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Meet with directors and volunteers to align objectives and communications.
• Respond to inquiries and maintain high service levels for internal/external stakeholders.
• Support Directors and senior leaders on special projects and meetings.
• Prepare presentations, correspondence, and minutes in a timely manner.
• Work independently and as part of a team on ongoing projects.
