Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Development Coordinator-Temporary for remote work in the Northeast region, based in Pennsylvania. The role supports School Fundraising programs for Kids Heart Challenge with data entry, donor records, and communication with the fundraising team.

You will assist the RVP and Development Directors, handling data-driven tasks, emails, and phone interactions, with a laptop provided by the Association.

Qualifications

• At least three years of administrative, project coordination or event management experience.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in event planning and management; proficient with web conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, Event.Gives).
• Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel; testing may occur.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with directors and volunteers to align objectives.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely, knowledgeable manner.
• Support Directors and senior leaders; assist with special projects.
• Prepare presentations, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
• Work independently and in teams on ongoing and nonrecurring projects.
