Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to drive programs for developers and technical buyers across Cloud and Security portfolios.

You will collaborate with DevRel, product marketing, and sales to convert developer interest into engaged accounts, pipeline, and product adoption using PLG and SLG motions. You will lead podcasts, webinars, and live events, while turning DevRel content into scalable programs and reporting ROI to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in developer, community, or program marketing.
• Experience running recurring developer/customer programs at scale (webinars, livestreams, newsletters).
• Experience supporting sales-led teams via field events, sponsorships, and customer briefings.
• Partnered with DevRel teams to turn developer content into repeatable programs.
• Excellent written communication; ability to translate technical topics for developers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end developer programs: podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, onboarding sessions.
• Turn DevRel content into repeatable programs for Cloud and Security launches and campaigns.
• Support field events and customer briefings; manage budgets, vendors, and ROI.
• Lead Akamai's developer and open source presence at conferences (KubeCon, CNCF, Linux Foundation, Spin).
• Manage program calendar with DevRel and product marketing; scale successful programs.
