Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to drive end-to-end developer programs across Cloud and Security, coordinating with DevRel, product marketing, and sales to convert developer interest into engaged accounts and pipeline.

You will lead webinars, podcasts, and events, turning DevRel content into scalable campaigns, while managing budgets and ROI and collaborating with cross-functional teams for impactful, data-driven results.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in developer, community, or program marketing and a degree in Marketing or related field.
• Experience running recurring developer, member, or customer programs at scale (webinars, livestreams, newsletters).
• Experience supporting sales-led teams through field events, sponsorships, and customer briefings with budgets and ROI.
• Partnering with DevRel teams to turn developer content into repeatable programs.
• Excellent written communication and ability to explain technical topics to developers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end developer programs (podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, onboarding).
• Turn DevRel content into repeatable programs for Cloud and Security launches and campaigns.
• Support field events and customer briefings for target accounts; drive sign-ups for PLG.
• Lead Akamai's developer and open source presence at events like KubeCon and CNCF projects.
• Manage budget, vendors, sponsorships, ROI; report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Own the developer program calendar with DevRel and product marketing, scale successful activities.
