Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to coordinate developer programs across Cloud and Security, collaborating with DevRel, product marketing, and sales to turn developer interest into engaged accounts, pipeline, and product adoption.

You will run podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, and onboarding sessions, turning DevRel content into repeatable programs that support launches and campaigns.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in developer, community, or program marketing.
• Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent.
• Experience running recurring developer programs such as podcasts, webinars, newsletters at scale.
• Excellent written communication and ability to translate technical topics for developers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end developer and technical programs (podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, onboarding).
• Turn DevRel content into repeatable programs supporting Cloud and Security launches and campaigns.
• Support SLG with field events and PLG with sign-ups.
• Lead Akamai's developer and open source presence at events like KubeCon, CNCF, Linux Foundation, Spin.
• Manage budget, vendors, sponsorships, ROI, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Own the developer program calendar with DevRel and product marketing.
