Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Developer Marketing Manager to drive programs that convert developer interest into adoption and pipeline. You will collaborate with Developer Relations, Product Marketing, and Sales across Cloud and Security portfolios to scale PLG and SLG motions.

Lead end-to-end programs, manage budgets, and coordinate with demand gen, events, and community teams to maximize measurable outcomes. Strong writing and public-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience in developer, community, or program marketing.
• Experience running recurring developer, member, or customer programs at scale.
• Excellent written communication and ability to translate technical topics for developers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end developer and technical programs (podcasts, webinars, livestreams, workshops, onboarding).
• Turn DevRel content into repeatable programs for Cloud and Security launches.
• Support field events and customer briefings, and drive sign-ups for PLG.
• Lead Akamai’s developer and open source presence at events like KubeCon, CNCF, The Linux Foundation.
• Manage budgets, vendors, sponsorships, ROI, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Own the developer program calendar with DevRel and product marketing.
