Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager to educate and train dealer partners, develop new sources, and manage sales activities in the assigned area. This field role requires travel and strong consultative sales skills, with a focus on growing dealer relationships and ensuring quality delivery of Westlake programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in automotive, finance and sales (required).
• 1–2 years in a sales role with a proven track record of success.
• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong presentation skills, from creation to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Knowledge/experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL (beneficial).
• Significant local travel required; possession of a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to dealership management.
• Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts and others as appropriate.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity in independent and franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise dealer communities.
• Maintain constant and effective communication via phone and in-person visits with dealer partners to train on current programs and funding requirements.
• Provide solutions and, when needed, restructure vehicle loans for Westlake and dealership partners.
• Assist with the preparation of sales contracts by informing the dealer on what is needed for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, maintain and understand sales materials and stay current on product knowledge.
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers.
