Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking a Dealer Account Manager to help partner dealers sell more cars and trucks through field training and prospecting. You will educate current partners, recruit new sources, and oversee sales activities, program knowledge, and funding delivery in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales (required).
• 1-2 year’s previous experience in a Sales role with a proven track record.
• College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience).
• Presentation skills (from initial creation to delivery).
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Goal oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
• Able to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, RouteOne, or CUDL (beneficial).
• Previous Outside Sales Experience (preferred).
• Significant local travel to current and potential clients. Requires valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to management within dealerships.
• Identify sales prospects and contact accounts assigned to you.
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals from field activity.
• Develop, maintain and grow dealer partners within the network.
• Communicate via phone and in-person visits to train on programs and funding requirements.
• Provide solutions and rehash vehicle loans for profitable approval.
• Assist with preparation of sales contracts and verification processes.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and knowledge of financial products.
• Participate in marketing events for dealers.
