Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to serve as a customer-facing cybersecurity expert. You will understand client needs, articulate value, and support the sales cycle with deep technical expertise. This is a remote role with occasional Austin, TX office reporting as needed for business purposes.

You will collaborate with CIO/CSO/CISO, study SHI offerings, train sales teams, and develop security collateral and use cases to address opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
• 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role
• 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting
• Advanced certifications preferred: CISSP, GIAC SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security or CCIE Security
• Travel to client locations required up to 20%
• Extended hours are required to complete some special projects

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO, CSO, CISO and security engineers to strengthen client relationships.
• Understand SHI’s cybersecurity offerings and solutions through training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on security solution selling and technologies through various training formats.
• Stay current on technology trends and industry landscape.
• Develop collateral and use cases in SHI labs for sales engagements.
• Scope and assist in SOW creation for professional services aligned to products and solutions.
