Job summary

SHI is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to act as a customer-facing security expert. The role focuses on consultative security projects and developing new services offerings. This remote position may report to the Austin, TX office as needed.

You will engage with senior client stakeholders and educate sales teams while staying current on industry trends and technologies to drive secure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, CIS) and security controls.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge: DLP, DSPM, DDR, encryption.
• Ability to sell and articulate complex cybersecurity solutions.
• Familiarity with leading security tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO, CSO, CISO and engineers to strengthen customer relationships.
• Learn SHI service offerings and educate sales teams on cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop collateral and use cases to support security engagements.
• Scope and assist in SOWs for professional services aligned to products.
