Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to support customers and internal sales teams remotely. The role focuses on designing, positioning, and articulating cybersecurity solutions for enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate translates complex security concepts into business outcomes, leads technical discovery sessions, and partners with vendors to validate solutions. Periodic reporting to the Austin, TX office may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS.
• Strong email security technologies knowledge including phishing protection, SEG, API-based protections, DLP.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Expertise in email security vendors and broader data security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals and security needs.
• Assess security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop high-level architectures and proposals for email security solutions.
• Design scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with vendors to validate proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre-sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales delivery.
