Job summary

SHI is seeking a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to partner with customers and internal sales teams to design, position, and articulate security solutions across enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments. This customer-facing role emphasizes translating complex security concepts into business outcomes.

This remote position may require periodic reporting to the office in Austin, Texas, based on business needs and as determined by SHI.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks (NIST/CIS/HITRUST) and related controls.
• Strong knowledge of email security technologies (phishing, BEC, SEG, DLP).
• Ability to translate technical security concepts into business value for customers and sales teams.
• Experience presenting and defending security solutions to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals and security needs.
• Assess customer security architectures for gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Develop high-level architectures, proposals and supporting documentation for email security solutions.
• Design scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions and differentiators to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations and technical briefings for customers.
