Job summary
SHI International Corp. seeks a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security. This role is customer-facing and data security focused, delivering consultative security services and new offerings.
This remote position may report to the Austin office as needed. You will work with CIOs, CSOs, and security engineers to advance SHI’s cybersecurity solutions and support sales engagements. You will stay current on DLP, DSPM, DDR, and encryption technologies, while developing collateral and use cases to
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role
- 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting
- Advanced certifications in CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, or CCSP preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and engagements
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CIO, CSO, CISO and security engineers to strengthen customer relationships
- Understand SHI's cybersecurity offerings across solution areas and attend training
- Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and technologies
- Study market trends and industry landscape to stay current
- Develop collateral and use cases to support sales engagements
- Scope and contribute to professional services SOWs aligning to recommended products
