Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Protection to serve as a customer-facing cloud security expert. You’ll take a consultative approach to security projects and develop new security services offerings.

This remote role may report to the office in Austin, Texas, as needed for business. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, educate sales teams on cybersecurity solutions, and stay ahead of trends, technologies, and market dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5+ years in technical cybersecurity.
• 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales; advanced certifications preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIO/CSO/CISO and security teams to align goals.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity offerings and technologies.
• Develop security services offerings and use cases in the SHI lab.
• Stay current on trends, market behavior, and emerging threats.
