Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines connecting source financial systems to a budgeting platform. The role requires SAP SAC, SAP HANA, and CDS view expertise, with a path to enterprise-wide data solutions.

This is a full-time, 100% remote position in the United States, with travel under 20% and a Public Trust clearance requirement. Competitive compensation and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in data integration, CDS View development, ETL, or data engineering.
• Proficiency with SAP SAC, SAP HANA, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and BW.
• Strong SQL and CDS query scripting for data transformation.
• Experience loading data into SAC and S/4HANA source systems.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (US Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for a budgeting solution.
• Analyze source systems (e.g., SAP) to map data structures and business rules.
• Write CDS views and SQL scripts to cleanse and transform data.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across systems.
• Monitor jobs, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance.
• Document data flows, specifications, and SOPs.
