Job summary

SMX is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for a new budget solution. You will connect SAP-based source systems to the budgeting platform, ensuring secure, accurate data flows and scalable performance.

The role requires 5+ years hands-on data integration, CDS/SAP expertise, and strong communication. 100% remote work with light travel and a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Experience with SAP analytics and data platforms is required.
• Strong SQL, CDS views, and data transformation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for budgeting solution.
• Analyze source systems (ERP, GL, HR) and map data to target model.
• Write and optimize CDS views and SQL scripts for data transformation.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across systems.
• Monitor jobs, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with project team and client SMEs on requirements.
