Jobgether is partnering with a client seeking a Manager, Data Engineering to lead a distributed data engineering team in a remote-first environment in the United States. The role focuses on building scalable lakehouse data platforms, implementing Medallion architecture, and driving data governance and CI/CD practices.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders, and translate strategy into practical pipelines and products, while ensuring security,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in software or data engineering.
• At least 2 years in a technical leadership capacity with team coordination and delivery ownership.

Mansioni

• Lead and develop a team of at least five data engineers with hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Translate architecture strategy into roadmaps, backlogs, sprint plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee day-to-day engineering execution and ensure high-quality deliverables.
