Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist to support national Data Center KAMs in developing field services proposals for critical data center infrastructure, including power delivery, power utilization and automation systems.

You will identify value-added service solutions and tailor Start-Up & Commissioning, Preventive Maintenance, Power Distribution upgrades, Arc Flash Mitigation, and 24/7 service agreements to uptime needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in STEM or business required.
12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
Previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations with the best product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects.
Ensuring tenders are well-documented with full and accurate costs.
Leading and managing the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation.
Managing collection and archival of documentation and reporting bid status regularly.
