Job summary

ABB's Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist provides national support to Data Center Key Account Managers in developing field services proposals for mission-critical data center infrastructure, including power delivery and automation systems.

You identify and propose value-added service solutions to data center operators and colocation providers, such as Start-Up & Commissioning Services, Preventive Maintenance, and 24/7 Emergency Service Agreements tailored to uptime requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM or business required.
12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
Willingness to travel domestically.
Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
Previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations considering product mix and technical/commercial aspects.
Ensuring tenders are well-documented with full and accurate costs.
Leading and managing the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids, estimates, and quotations; indicating prices and trading conditions.
Managing collection and archival of documentation regarding offers/orders and recording assumptions and decisions.
