Job summary

ABB is seeking a Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist to provide national support for Data Center KAMs in developing field services proposals for mission-critical data center infrastructure. The role requires a strong field service background in critical power systems and data centers, with emphasis on compelling value-added service solutions and clear cost documentation.

Remote work model in the United States; contribute to Electrification Services Division and collaborate with Sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or business, with relevant experience in service or sales.
• 12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service are required.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
• Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution, ideally for data centers.
• Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
• Ability to interface with internal and external customers.
• Contract terms & conditions or execution experience.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Formulating competitive bids, estimates and quotations with optimal product mix and technical/commercial balance.
• Ensure tenders are well-documented with full costs and appropriate detail.
• Lead planning and preparation of technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids and quotations.
• Manage collection and archival of offer/order documentation and record assumptions/decisions; report bid status.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in STEM or business

Technical experience with data center customers/processes

Customer-facing/interfacing with internal & external customers
