Job summary

ABB Inc. in the United States is seeking a Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist to support national Data Center KAMs in developing field services proposals for mission-critical infrastructure, including power delivery, power utilization and automation systems.

This remote role requires a strong field service background in critical power systems and data center environments, plus excellent communication and organizational skills to drive bids from concept to award.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
• Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
• Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
• Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
• Previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations with the best product mix and cost considerations.
• Ensuring tenders are well-documented in a timely manner with full costs.
• Leading and managing the planning of technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids and quotations.
• Managing collection and archival of documentation and reporting bid status regularly.
