Job summary

Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, seeks a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. Location is remote with 50% travel as needed.

You will set vertical strategy, drive growth, and build executive relationships across data center operators and hyperscalers while leading a team of Data Center experts to scale complex solutions with field, manufacturing, and service operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technical/engineering fields.
• 10+ years in sales or business development with 6+ years of people leadership.
• 5+ years of HVAC sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Centers vertical market strategy and national accounts planning.
• Develop and communicate market intelligence, growth plans, and competitive insights.
• Drive field and customer feedback into short- and long-term planning.
• Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, service, and product teams.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials, events, and visibility.
• Mentor and coach Data Center experts to grow pipeline and headcount.
