Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. You will set the vertical strategy and business plans to deliver growth and profitability, while guiding a team of Data Center experts. The role requires strong executive engagement across data center operators and hyperscalers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical/scientific/engineering field.
10+ years in sales or business development with 6+ years in people leadership.
History of leading high-performing teams in data center sales.
Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships across data center operators and hyperscalers.
5+ years of related experience in HVAC sales.

Responsibilities

Lead market analysis and strategic planning for Data Center vertical.
Develop and drive business strategy and annual plans; report to VP of National Accounts.
Elevate Data Center team professionalism and scale complex solutions across regions.
Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, manufacturing, service ops, product development).
Collaborate with marketing on materials, events, and visibility; identify speaking opportunities.
Hire, train, and coach headcount; drive pipeline growth and career development.
