Daikin Applied, the world's largest HVAC company, is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical market as part of the National Accounts team.

This remote role requires travel up to 50% and involves market analysis, strategic planning, and executive relationship building with data center operators and hyperscalers.

You'll mentor a team, coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and product development to deliver profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical, scientific, or engineering field.
• 10+ years in sales or business development with 6+ years of people leadership.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams in the data center sector.
• Ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders.
• 5+ years of related experience in HVAC sales.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess market intelligence including market characteristics, segmentation, trends, and growth potential.
• Strategic Planning: develop data center vertical market strategy and plans; update leadership; gather field feedback.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team; drive repeatable, scalable processes across locations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead strategy implementation with supply chain, manufacturing, service ops, and product development.
• Marketing: collaborate on materials, trade shows, and visibility; pursue speaking and publishing opportunities.
• Team Management: lead Data Center experts; drive pipeline growth; hire, train, and develop staff.
