Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead data center commissioning, startup, and service projects. You will own stakeholder communication, planning, schedule, risk, and closeout from mobilization to customer acceptance. A technical background is preferred to credibly engage with field stakeholders.

This role is primarily remote, with travel as required. You will manage multiple sites, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and ensure billing readiness and contract adherence

Qualifications

• Five or more years of project management in field service or multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Experience leading customer, contractor, field, and executive communication.
• Proven ability to de-escalate conflict and align during high‑pressure situations.
• Strong collaboration skills and cross‑functional influence.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Strong written communication, meeting leadership, organization and follow‑through.
• Working knowledge of time‑and‑material and milestone‑based billing.
• Proficiency with Excel, project tracking tools, and field service platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary hands‑on PM contact for assigned projects and maintain consistent communication with customers, contractors, field teams, OEMs, site leadership, and internal teams.
• Lead project meetings and difficult conversations with clear agendas, status, decisions, actions, and follow‑through.
• Recognize emerging conflict early; clarify facts, reduce tension, and develop a mutually understood path forward.
• Communicate technical, schedule, resource, and commercial impacts clearly without overpromising or blaming.
• Escalate at the appropriate time while retaining ownership of project impact, communication, tracking, and closeout.
