Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems used in hyperscale data centers across the United States. The role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, with travel up to 100% depending on project needs.

The technician will perform equipment startup, system verification, and documentation while collaborating with senior technicians and project teams.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' experience with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Hydronic systems experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation for local travel; willingness to fly.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems.
• Perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision while assisting senior technicians.
• Assist with equipment startup and commissioning for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU.
• Verify installation and piping connections and identify system performance issues.
• Communicate effectively with startup leads and team members using Microsoft Teams.
