SHI International is seeking a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design, position, and articulate cybersecurity solutions across modern enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments. This role emphasizes translating complex security concepts into business outcomes and requires collaboration with sales and technology partners.

The position is remote, based in the West region of the United States, and involves leading technical discovery, PoCs, demonstrations, and documentation for

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
• Strong email security knowledge: phishing, BEC, SEG, API-based security, DLP, and APT.
• Able to communicate and sell complex technical products by understanding customer needs and articulating value.
• Expertise in email security vendors such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal, and related platforms.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess customer security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrates expertise in email security environments and develops high-level architectures, proposals, and supporting documentation.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions, value propositions, and competitive differentiation to both technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to validate and refine proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre‑sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure a smooth handoff to post‑sales delivery teams following opportunity closure.
