Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to support customers and internal sales teams with consultative technical guidance across modern enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

This remote role may require periodic reporting to the Austin, TX office based on business needs. The ideal candidate combines deep cybersecurity expertise with the ability to translate security concepts into business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS (Etc.).
• Strong email security technologies knowledge including phishing protection, SEG, API-based security, DLP, and advanced threat protection.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products by understanding customer needs and articulating value.
• Expertise in email security solutions including Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal and related data security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess customer security architectures for gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrates expertise in email security environments and develops high-level architectures, proposals, and documentation.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions and value propositions to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with partners to validate and refine proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre‑sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post‑sales delivery teams.
