Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer for a remote US-based role. You will design, position, and articulate cybersecurity solutions across modern enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments, while translating complex security concepts into business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical depth with clear communication to customers and internal sales. Periodic reporting to the Austin, TX office may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS, etc. (Intermediate)
• Strong email security technologies knowledge including phishing protection, SEG, API-based security, DLP and APT protection (Intermediate)
• Ability to effectively communicate and sell complex technical products by understanding customer needs and articulating value (Intermediate)
• Expertise in email security solutions such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal and other leading vendors (Exposure to broader data security platforms)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess customer security architectures to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate expertise in email security environments and develop high-level architectures and proposals.
• Design scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions, value propositions, and differentiation to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with technology partners to validate proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre‑sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal teams.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post‑sales delivery teams after opportunity closure.
