Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a remote Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer in the US Midwest to design, position, and articulate cybersecurity solutions across hybrid and cloud environments.

You will lead discovery sessions, assess architectures, and develop proposals while enabling sales teams with security expertise. The role requires 3+ years in cybersecurity and strong knowledge of email security, with certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Broad understanding of email and data security across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architectures.
• Strong knowledge of identity, network security, endpoint protection, data protection, and security operations.
• Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, systems integrator, or technology provider environment.
• Strong presentation skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong documentation skills, including system and network diagrams.
• Relevant OEM cybersecurity certifications.
• Relevant vendor cybersecurity certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals and security environments.
• Assess customer security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop high-level architectures, solution proposals, and supporting technical documentation.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• Provide security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Deliver engaging presentations tailored to audience and context.
• Coordinate multiple projects and manage details to ensure quality.
• Build relationships and expand networks within teams and customers.
• Demonstrate expertise in email security technologies and communicate value to support sales.
