Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to support customers and internal sales teams with secure design and messaging across enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

The role requires presenting solutions to technical and executive audiences, conducting technical discovery, and collaborating with vendors to validate proposals. This is a remote Midwest US position based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, HITRUST) at an intermediate level.
• Strong knowledge of email security technologies (phishing protection, SEG, DLP) at intermediate level.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex security solutions by understanding customer needs and articulating value.
• Expertise with email security vendors (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal) and data security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess architectures and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design high-level architectures and proposals for email security solutions.
• Present security solutions to technical and executive audiences.
• Support demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with partners to refine proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre-sales PoC to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales delivery.
