Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design, position, and articulate cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers in modern hybrid and cloud environments. This remote role may report to the Austin office as needed.

The ideal candidate combines deep cybersecurity expertise with the ability to translate complex concepts into business outcomes, supporting sales through PoCs and technical enablement.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, CIS, etc.
• Strong knowledge of email security technologies and BEC/SEG/DLP.
• Ability to articulate complex security concepts to business audiences and support sales.
• Expertise in email security vendors and broader data security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess customer security architectures for gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop high‑level architectures and solution proposals for cybersecurity needs.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• Present security solutions and differentiated value to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with partners to validate proposed solutions and refine approaches.
• Assist with pre‑sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post‑sales delivery after opportunity closure.
