Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Customer Success Manager to support VA Data Modernization initiatives from a fully remote US location. You will own a portfolio of internal customers, develop strategic relationships, and work with product, engineering, and support teams to demonstrate and track value delivered.

You will guide onboarding, access provisioning, and data environment usage, while maintaining rigorous documentation and playbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/engineering or technical discipline.
• 8 years of project management experience.
• 3+ years in customer success or account management.
• Ability to navigate relationships across complex organizations.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Experience onboarding users and access provisioning workflows.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to document processes and maintain knowledge articles.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of internal customers and build deep relationships across their organizations.
• Develop intimate understanding of customers’ strategic goals and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and support to realize and report customer values.
• Collect insights to support scalable use cases that drive platform adoption.
• Maintain rigorous account documentation and success plans.
• Create customer success playbooks and engagement templates.
• Serve as the primary front door for VA Data Modernization customer support.
• Provide access provisioning support and validate privileges for fast-track users.
• Assist users in understanding cloud data environments and workspace functionality.
• Coordinate with Databricks SMEs for white-glove support and post-provisioning engagement.
• Identify blockers and drive process improvements.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and clear communication.
• Help workgroups set up resources and migrate workloads.
• Collaborate with on-prem teams to decommission resources after migrations.
• Manage multiple projects and provide cross-functional program support.
• Prioritize top issues for triage and resolution.
