Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Customer Success Manager to support VA Data Modernization initiatives. The role is fully remote within the United States and focuses on onboarding, user support, and adoption of cloud data platforms.

You will own customer relationships, coordinate with product, engineering, and enablement teams, and drive value realization across programs. A strong background in CSM, PM, and technical product management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or technical discipline (or commensurate experience).
• 8 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related field — with a demonstrated track record managing technical products for enterprise accounts and help customers achieve business outcomes.
• Ability to build and navigate relationships across complex organizations, internally and with customers.
• Proficiency with Building high-quality PowerPoint templates, data analysis with spreadsheets and Pivot tables, and querying databases.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of internal customers and build deep relationships across their organizations.
• Develop understanding of portfolio customers’ goals, team composition, decision-makers, and business results.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and support to realize, track, and report customer values created.
• Provide access and provisioning support, including validating privileges for fast-track users.
• Assist users in understanding cloud data environments, tools, DevTest data access, and workspace functionality.
• Coordinate with Databricks SMEs and enablement teams for white-glove support.
• Identify blockers in intake or support processes and elevate improvements.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by listening to needs and providing clear communication.
• Help workgroups set up resources and migrate workloads; decommission resources after migrations.
