Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Customer Success Manager to support VA Data Modernization initiatives. This role is fully remote within the United States and focuses on onboarding, user support, and driving adoption of modern data platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years in project management and 3+ years in customer success, with demonstrated ability to manage enterprise accounts, build relationships, and deliver measurable outcomes through collaboration with product, engineering, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or commensurate experience.
• 8 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
• 3+ years in customer success or account management with enterprise customers.
• Proven ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships.
• Strong PowerPoint template creation, spreadsheet data analysis, and SQL/database querying.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of internal customers and build deep relationships across their orgs.
• Understand customers' strategic goals, team makeup, and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and support to track value created.
• Gather insights to scale use cases and maximize customer value.
• Maintain rigorous account documentation including success plans and risk flags.
• Create playbooks and engagement templates to strengthen the customer function.
• Serve as the primary front door for VA Data Modernization support.
• Coordinate with Databricks SMEs for white-glove post-provisioning support.
• Identify blockers and drive process improvements across intake and support.
