Job summary

Achieve Test Prep is seeking a dedicated Retention Specialist to join our Customer Success Team in a fully remote role outside the USA. You will use proven retention strategies to keep students engaged, collect payments where needed, and solve issues that influence cancellations.

The role emphasizes problem solving, negotiation, and strong English communication in a fast-paced, home-based environment. The ideal candidate brings call center or retention experience, excellent interpersonal skills,

Qualifications

Must be highly motivated and eager to earn hourly rate plus commission.
Must write and speak fluently in English with superior phone etiquette.
Flexible schedules; Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM EST.
Professional sales or retention experience required.
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment; diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

Initiate outbound calls to retain customers and collect payments over the phone.
Provide resolution to customer issues by asking probing questions.
Identify root causes for customer churn and develop retention strategies.
Personalize retention plans based on each customer's cancellation reasons.
Negotiate to achieve net results while meeting productivity targets.
Maintain loyalty through friendly, professional communication.
Adhere to retention targets and department policies; manage schedule.
Assist with data entry and administrative tasks within the department.
