Job summary

WEX, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to be the primary contact for customers in a fast-paced call center environment. The role handles inbound inquiries about account maintenance, billing, and technical support via phone and email, with remote work from home options.

Shifts include overnight and day schedules across CST, and you may support WEX Health or Mobility centers. You will document interactions and ensure privacy and security in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong computer and keyboarding skills; proficient with Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Must pass a background check.
• Remote work requires a private, quiet workspace and reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond to emails with a professional attitude.
• Resolve billing questions, payments, and account maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and guide customers through WEX online platforms and apps.
• Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to provide fast resolution.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security compliance as applicable.
• Document interactions in the CRM (Salesforce).
