Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking an Agent, Fun Expert in Texas to assist guests with cruise planning, answer vacation questions, and convert calls into bookings. The role involves handling technical inquiries about Carnival platforms, upselling staterooms, and guiding advisers through self-service tools.

You will work a full-time schedule including evenings and one weekend day, participate in training, and have access to benefits and a stipend after probation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma REQUIRED.
• 6 months - 1 year previous sales and customer service REQUIRED.
• This is a full-time role. Must be able to work 1:30-10 during the week and 1 weekend day shift from 9-6pm est.
• Initial Training: 7 consecutive weeks.
• Training Schedule: 1st 5 weeks Monday - Friday | 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM EST; 2nd 2 weeks Monday- Friday | 1:30-10pm est.
• Must have your own equipment; Stipend of $750 after 90 days.
• Must have a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
• MACBOOKS, Chromebooks and iPads are not supported.
• High-speed internet is required; WiFi-only setups are not permitted.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
• This is for the January 2027 class.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from guests and travel advisers with technical issues on Carnival platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to IT as needed.
• Complete pre-sale transactions and guide guests in self-service apps.
• Answer shore excursion questions and help compare options.
• Process fun shop inquiries and orders.
• Guide advisers through Goccl functions and features.
• Convert sales calls into cruise bookings by documenting preferences as leads.
• Participate in training and team coaching sessions.
• Support other areas during peak times.
• Adhere to all policies and standards.
