Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking an Agent, Fun Expert to assist guests with bookings, pre-sale activities, and technical support across Carnival platforms. You will guide advisors, answer excursion questions, and process orders while aiming to convert calls into cruise bookings.

The role emphasizes customer service, sales performance, and adherence to schedules, with remote-friendly options and a required January 2027 class. Training spans seven weeks, with stipends after milestones.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 6 months to 1 year previous sales and customer service required.
• This is a fulltime role. Must work 1:30-10 during week and 1 weekend day 9-6 EST.
• Initial Training: 7 consecutive weeks.
• Training Schedule: 1st 5 weeks 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM EST; 2nd 2 weeks 1:30-10 PM EST.
• Must have own equipment; stipend of $750 after 90 days.
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace required.
• MacBooks, Chromebooks and iPads are not supported.
• High-speed internet required; WiFi-only setups not permitted.
• This is for the January 2027 class.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming guest calls and advisor inquiries about technical issues with Carnival platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems to IT via the IT system.
• Assist with pre-sale transactions and guide guests in self-service tools.
• Assist guests with shore excursion questions and comparison of options.
• Process fun shop inquiries and orders; guide advisers through Carnival systems.
• Convert sales calls into cruise bookings by documenting preferences as leads.
• Attend coaching and training sessions and participate in team meetings.
• Support other areas during peak times and comply with policies.
