TAG MedStaffing is seeking Crisis Workers for a remote, part-time role delivering text and online chat-based emotional support to individuals and families in crisis. You will use active listening, assess safety, coordinate resources, document interactions, and follow confidentiality protocols.

This position prioritizes empathy, clear written communication, and calm decision-making under pressure. Applicants should have 1+ year in behavioral health or related fields and a high school diploma;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; psychology/related field preferred.
• 1+ year in behavioral health, social services, crisis support, or related fields preferred.
• Strong written communication, empathy, and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Crisis Support: Respond to individuals experiencing crisis via text/online chat with empathy and rapport.
• Risk Assessment: Identify safety concerns and follow crisis intervention protocols.
• Resource Coordination: Connect individuals with appropriate community resources.
• Crisis Intervention: Apply intervention techniques and distress tolerance strategies under pressure.
• Documentation: Accurately document interactions, assessments, referrals, and outcomes.
• Training & Compliance: Complete crisis intervention training and maintain confidentiality.
