Job summary

HopeLink Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-Time Crisis Worker to provide emotional support to individuals and families in crisis via phone, text, or online chat. The role is fully remote with a 16-hour weekly schedule across three shifts (Mornings, Evenings, Overnights).

You will use active listening and empathy to assess safety, document contacts, and refer callers to resources. This position requires completing the 120+-hour HopeLink Crisis Services Crisis Worker Training and maintaining

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed mandatory 120+-hour HopeLink Crisis Services Crisis Worker Training.
• Ability to support people in crisis using voice, chat, and text across program areas as needed.
• Computer experience and proficient typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis contacts via voice, chat, and text with active listening and rapport.
• Assess safety and risk and follow established protocols.
• Provide confidential contacts and referrals; involve 9-1-1 when necessary.
• Complete accurate contact reports and document interactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and complete at least 5 hours of refresher training after initial training.
• Complete other administrative tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
