Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Credit Bureau Reporting & Corrections Analyst to handle electronic disputes and inquiries from borrowers or representatives, researching and resolving issues within deadlines. Starting pay is $30.32–$32.80 per hour for remote work from home in the United States.

Qualifications

• BA/degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years in mortgage servicing or credit bureaus disputes.
• Knowledge of federal/state mortgage servicing laws (RESPA, CFPB, TILA, FCRA).
• Experience handling credit disputes with accuracy under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Investigate credit reporting disputes using Metro 2 standards and Carrington policy.
• Respond to disputes via E-Oscar and submit corrections to bureaus.
• Determine if corrections are warranted and update records accordingly.
• Make loan updates and ensure proper notation in the system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inquiries and report trends.
• Research loan data history and verify payments, escrow, and balances for disputes.
• Handle escalated credit reporting issues for internal units.
• Stay current with RESPA, TILA, FCRA, CFPB regulations.
• Follow department policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
