Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Credit Bureau Reporting & Corrections Analyst to handle electronic credit bureau disputes, review inquiries and disputes, and provide timely responses in accordance with federal and state regulations.

This remote role offers starting pay of $30.32 to $32.80 per hour and requires knowledge of Metro 2, FCRA, RESPA and CFPB regulations, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years in mortgage servicing or credit bureau disputes.
• Familiarity with Metro 2 format is a plus.
• Knowledge of FCRA and credit reporting regulations.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a production-driven environment with accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Investigate credit reporting disputes and compare records to Metro 2 standards.
• Respond to disputes via E-Oscar and submit corrections.
• Determine if corrections are warranted and update records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve inquiries and track trends.
• Research loan data to ensure accurate dispute responses.
• Handle escalated issues and support business units.
• Stay current with RESPA, TILA, FCRA, and CFPB regulations.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
