Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Credit Bureau Reporting & Corrections Analyst to handle electronic disputes, review inquiries, disputes and complaints, research issues, and provide responses within deadlines. The approved starting pay for this role is $30.32 - $32.80 per hour.

• Familiarity with Metro 2 format is a plus.
• Knowledge/Experience with credit reporting and FCRA is preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal and state laws and guidelines pertaining to mortgage servicing (RESPA, CFPB, etc.).
• Strong operations knowledge including payment processing, escrow, taxes and insurance.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and sound judgment.
• Able to work independently with high accuracy and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate credit reporting disputes using Metro 2 standards and Carrington policy.
• Respond to disputes via E-Oscar and submit corrections to bureaus.
• Determine if corrections are warranted and modify reporting accordingly.
• Make loan updates with proper system notation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve inquiries and report trends.
• Research loan data (payments, escrow, balances) to support dispute responses.
• Handle escalated credit reporting issues and support business units.
• Stay up to date with RESPA, TILA, FCRA and CFPB regulations.
• Adhere to department and company policies.
